Hmmm....

We're not really sure what happened. Danielle was reading in the living room and heard a loud crash coming from our back porch. She opened the blinds to find this:

We have a couple of theories, though.
1) It had just rained and then the sun came out. Perhaps the air pressure or temperature changed so fast that the glass simply shattered as it expanded faster than the frame.

2) Aliens came down from Mars and zapped the table with their radar guns. This was for revenge when they abducted me last week and I made a mess of their spaceship.

3) It was John Paul (pictured here). He is a bit mischevious. And he's a law student, too. Enough said.
So, whoever is interested, we've got a free glass table top to whomever would like. We think Waste Management may have already taken it, though.

Family Fun Night & College Cookout

Since I've been home, it's been a whirlwind of activity around here.
I think we are just starting to breath again. It's been much fun
though! Last week our church had another Family Fun Night. Craig
helped lead the church in a quiz game night for the 2nd time this
summer. It was well attended & quite fun!

Then on Saturday we had a cookout for the College & Career
Ministry, which kicked off the new semester. We started the
evening playing volleyball, while hamburgers & hot dogs were
being fired up on the grill. Everyone ate & then Craig was able
to cast vision for the ministry this year. Then we were up until
11 or so playing Mafia -college just wouldn't be the
same w/o that game :)

Baby Shower

Last weekend, I went home where my family threw a
baby shower for me. There was lots of family, some
long time family friends, ladies from our Sunday School
class in the ville, etc. It was a lot of fun! Abigail is
will be sporting some awefully cute outfits for the first
year of her life!

The presents made it home in 3 suitecases :)

Brianna was one of my helpers!

Three generations!

Friends & Family

The best part about visiting the hometown was being
able to spend time with friends & family! Love you all!!

Couldn't leave out...

I didn't want to leave out this next pic - but I could
only post 4 pics at a time. But I thought I'd throw in
some pics from our wildlife sanctuary. S&K, I thought
you'd appreciate these.

This is William - the biggest Iguana I've seen
yet. Don't forget this is the front yard :)

And these are 37 vultures eating cow tongue in our
back yard. Why cow tongue? It was a youth
event - need I say more?!

Our LIttle Girl

Here are our most recent ultra sound pictures (profile views).
Abigail looks like she is blowing bubbles! If you look at the right
side of the 2nd pic, you can see her hand in a fist shape with her
index finger pointing up.

The Office

This is Craig at "work." He is loving this new position that Lord has
called him to. This night he was gearing up for a Family Night at
our church. We had a cook out and played a quiz game that everyone
could participate in. It was a lot of fun!

This is Charlie - our dinner guest last week. He tried to hide under
our napkins, but we caught him and sent him back to the Amazon.
This rescue mission went better than the last. We were left with half
a twitching tail during the previous battle.

Craig's parents came to visit this weekend! We had fun showing
them around the town, even took a trip to the Keys. We also went
up to Cocoa, where we were able to hang out with the rest of his
family. It was really fun to see them...I'll try to get a picture or
two to share soon.

Our House

Here is our house. It & the church office are
sitting on 12 acres of land. We are very greatful
for the trees shading our house & providing a
lovely view out our front window.

Living room - Mom, I modified the curtians just
a bit to make them work for this window - I
thought you'd be proud.

Dining room -opens to the living room. Sliding
doors open up to the patio.

Kitchen - The window over the sink & counter
slides all the way open. So when it finally gets
cooler (around January). We can open them up
all the way to let fresh air in, have a bar-b-q &
serve food from inside.
